I think that was a bit cheap. Lots of work done and foundations of a nice car. Just needs a little more to push it over the line.

Disappointing for the seller, a really smart car for someone at that money!.

As always Collecting Cars is a gamble without reserve…on the plus side a sale is guaranteed, without dealing with tyre kickers, so positives and negatives!

I’m not actually sure no reserve works in the way it should anymore as I think people start to smell a rat in my view especially at that price point - all it seems to guarantee is that Collecting Cars gets their commission.

We sell over 100 trade cars at Manheim Auctions every week and it doesn’t work there either.

Are you coming to the Collecting Cars Coffee run on Sunday morning Ed at the Motorist - I’m getting my Trophy mot’d tomorrow to take up weather permitting - also my exhaust levelled up after your advice

I know there are various machines out there to work on and setup suspension components.

I can just see you Nick trying to get something similar to set the exhaust,just to that perfect angle.

This looks a great car that's got an impeccable service history to be proud of - however I do find it strange that there is no Mechanical images at all which is a great shame -

Also a little pet hate is the dreaded missing front bumper sticker's that cost very little but make a big differance in the attention to detail.

I'll really look forward to watching this and I hope it rings the bell

I have to agree Nick, the lack of any under-bonnet pics or of other more mechanically oriented areas ( a quick peep in the arches at the Sachs etc) is a glaring omission.
