Morning Ed, very unlike me but I didn't take any pictures of it at the time and it was back in September when I looked at it so I've slept since.

Front bumper had a scuff on the NS corner.
NSF Wing had a crack
One of the rear quarters needed work, can't remember exactly now, it might have been a previous repair showing through or lacquer peel....genuinely can't remember, I'd have normally taken a picture
Alloys were white
Spiltter was broken - I mentioned to him about the ones RS Performance sells

I'd honestly say that looking underneath and inside that the mileage is genuine, it was very good underneath.

I seem to remember I mentioned to him the front looked too high, even for a standard Cup so mentioned to him about getting some Eibach springs as standard springs are NLA

Had a wee look at the new pics, you're right Gaz & Nick, not too bad at all underneath that 172 Cup, certainly looks commensurate with the low mileage.

Maybe everyone was right about the Christmas Cheer helping it to the 20k last time - there is a phrase in the trade - “your first bid is usually your best bid” - definitely applies to this sale - I’d now park it up till after Easter when people are getting itchy feet for something for the summer.

I've just seen that really nice Cup 200 has been put back up as a classified sale for £13,500.
Apparently the person who won it about a week ago became a no show and disappeared.

Very much showing its age and I guess that is okay, it’s very nearly 20 years old. But this is my gripe ( there had to be one didn’t there) If you are putting a car up for sale on a premier(?) auction site, why wouldn’t you get the car looking the best it can be?

It speaks volumes doesn't it. But perhaps we're in the minority with some of our proclivities, I do wonder whether other folk even notice some of the stuff which makes our teeth itch.

That said, it wouldn't take much to get this car looking a little better. Bit of paint on that front bumper, a new splitter and headlight polish would be a good start and there's at least three sets of the correct wheels currently available out there if you look hard enough...
