For the price, there still looks to be some very good parts on that.

You should make your money back and more if you were to break it.

Apart from the obligatory black mark due to being written off there is potential for someone to resurrect this car.

Looks like the only major damage is forward of the slam panel but the subframe and top mount geo could be all over the place. Who is brave enough

If I wasn't so far away this would interest me for a winter project.
I know what you mean, it doesn't look too bad does it. Not far from me now, but I think the auction ends in a couple of days and I'd prefer to view physically I think before submitting a bid, sadly work commitments are going to prevent that this week.

Renault Sport Specialist Parts have the car now and are advertising all the parts. I would have bought but too late to the auction. Breaking not restoring. Not sure on number though.
Cheers for the heads up Ian. Checked it out, and like yourself, enquired about the dampers...

Ultimately a shame the car is being broken though.

I have the private plate and the original VRN details, along with the VIN. I'm still awaiting info on which number it is. Once known, the owners register can be updated. (y)

Great news, thanks Andy, I had a feeling you might be able to acquire the info. Did you manage to get your hands on the engine loom?

No problem, Ed. Hopefully, that information (the Trophy number) will be forthcoming very soon and, of course, I will share the knowledge!

Yes, I did manage to get the engine loom, thanks. I'm hoping that this might cure some of the recurrent issues I'm having (although, saying that, #165 has been faultless since I got her back a few months ago, other than an EML due to a failing lambda sensor).

Great to hear #165 has been behaving fairly impeccably recently Andy, glad Mick has been able to work his magic. :) (y)
