im due a new set of tyres all round and heard good reviews about the toyo 888 but i cant find the profile 205/16/45 anywhere. also maybe considering toyos t1r as i had them on my old 172 but dont know how it compares to the exaltos.

If your doing trackdays, best to get a set of 15's as tyres are piss cheap. £250 for 4.
Stick with exaltos for normal road tyres, best overall no matter what the tyre surveys say.

The 888 is a track tyre, will wear much quicker than a road tyre, has a much harsher ride and worst of all will aquaplane like mad. There is talk that track tyres may not be road legal in the future as they do not have enough tread depth to resist aquaplaning - probably a couple if years away knowing the EEC.
