i'm after a 1/2" drive socket set. Anyone got one or know of going for little outlay?
I know it's a bit of a Faux Pas where quality items are concerned, but Halfords do some really good cheap socket sets, I bought a tool box from Halfords for £50 a few years back and it came with every socket and spanner I've ever needed. And only half of them are broken or melted in the midday sun now.

As has been mentioned Halfords do some great tools for the money. Unless you are using it day in day out, their Professional range should be plenty good enough, and its lifetime guareteed to boot.
