Recaro seat problem

Hi All

I used to be an owner of a trophy and am looking to now buy another one as I need something a little more practical.
Whilst looking at a trophy for sale I noticed when trying the latch of the recaro that the seat didn't disengage the runner and pull forward.
I have heard about the little metal thing that is on the runner that returns the seat to the original fore aft position being problematic but not it not disengaging the seat at all.
Does anybody have any experience of this and what is involved to fix this, that is if I but the trophy I am looking at.

Just buy a new set of seat rails. Probably cost you about £30.

Not sure how the rails would cure the problem that I have observed. The seat memory problem is fixed by new rails from what I have read.

Sounds more like a cable issue here ? from memory they can become un-clipped and quite simple to fix.

As Carbon Chaos mentioned. Have look at the inside lower back of seat. There's a cable there that should sit nicely if its shifted off onto the outer edge its just a case of wedging it back.
