Just left my car with a renault service centre - oil and stop lights have been coming on intermittently. Oil isn't low, and I have never let it get low. They have said that they need the car maybe for up to a day to properly diagnose, and said it could potentially be a big problem and I shouldn't be driving it.
Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Am quite worried now. :(

how can it be a 'potentially a big problem' if the oil light comes on when the oil isn't even low? Probably a loose connection somewhere or the ECU will need reflashing or soemthing. I can't see it being too major.

For example, once or twice a couple of warning lights come up on my dash, but its just the wires under the passenger seat, you move them slightly and they dissapear.

all the best though

I suppose theyre just saying worst case scenario, could be low oil pressure? Which would obviously be a big problem - but theres more than a fair chance that it could be some dodgy Reno wiring

Fingers are crossed for you mate
