My car came to me with a poly bushed dog bone mount.
Can these cause some extra "unwanted" noise/vibration in the car.?
Mine seems to have this at tickover.
Im just working my way through the car and getting it just how i like it...
Its NOT going to be a track toy, i have something else for that...

Yep - i've just fitted one and it has caused some increased vibration/rattles at idle, but the improvement it offers in terms of driveability more than makes up for it.

Doesn't bother me personally, but I can see why it would

I've fitted the K-tek race version, which is practically solid. I have also got used to it. The car does vibrate alot, but the way the car feels more than makes up for it. There is no engine movement when accelerating and braking, and the handling is better as the engine leans alot less in the corners. Just turn on the stereo, because then you can hear it but still feel it.

Has it had the engine and gearbox mounts uprated too? As they will cause more noise and vibration on tick over than the dog bone!
