Iβm with you. Thereβs something really nice about a decent steelie on a utility / basic vehicle that just looks βrightβ - I think the lack of over-fussy styling helps. Why is it after all these years of supersize alloys being the hoop of choice I still think a small diameter steelie looks so cool on anything!
Maybe itβs the hankering for a compliant ride over our shocking roads.
I bet a nice set of steelies would work well on the T?
I've seen a Trophy with these fitted. I'll be honest, I personally think a 15" wheel looks a bit odd with the Mk2 body shell unless it has a big drop on the suspension. I feel Renault got it pretty much spot on with the Turini on the 172 Cup and our Trophy's - it's a cracker of a wheel design and suits the car so well.Would the gold Clio Williams wheel fit ? I've always liked them.
Haha! Great episode Francis.Cracking snap there Ed, reminds me of that Fr. Ted episode,
where Dougal gets a lesson in perspective, small/far away![]()
