Max On-line Users

What was happening 1 year ago tomorrow morning at 0200hrs that there were 54 users on-line? Did all these people fall asleep at their computers? or was there some massive trophy discussion going on then? I think we should be told.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was a fake record really, the Google web crawling bot took a bit of a fancy to the site and created lots of guest users as it was reading the site for the search engine.

from my memory we had an issue that the forum wasn't logging people out - so it just built up over the coarse of the day... the timings of the posts were all buggered up also....

Ahh yes you're right that was it!

Yeah, the hosts decided to jump the clock forward by a day so everyone who logged on then had sessions dated for the next day so they never appeared to log off and stayed active!
