My Trophy no.288 went in for its major service yesterday i will get it back tomorrow payed a bit extra to get the rocker cover taken off and re-sealed as there was a slight oil leak were obviously there was a gap in the sealant. bit weird why Renault doesn't use a gasket but ohh well its getting sorted as we speak

A place called finish line they are a Renault specialist. the guy that's doing the work is real good mates with the parts guy at Renault Letchworth. If Renault in Letchworth has a car come in from a customers damaged they send to Finish line to sort it out (body work that is). i went to Renault to get a quote for my major service and the rocker cover at Letchworth Renault and they quoted £1600 !! Finish line wanted 950 for everything so i went to them.

must be a french thing as Peugeot dont use gaskets on rocker covers on the 106 GTI, its a bit of a bitch getting them to seal properly

well if matey boy doesn't get mine sealed up and it starts leaking again he can have it rite back lol
