Full Renault service History?

Hello All,

Im new to your site, hope to be picking up a Trophy this weekend but quick question:

Does a full Renault Service history make much difference in terms of resale value? The car Im due to get is due a service and the garage has offered to include the service in the purchase package, shoule I not be fussed about the Full Renault history or is it work keeping on top of?

Would appreciate a quick reply if any one is online? Thanks.

With my personal experience with main dealers (and knowing the type of staff they employ) personally i wouldn't be that bothered by main dealer history. I would much rather have a car with specialist history, but thats just my opinion!

i second that, if you see Rentech, Mark Fish, RS Murray/RS Tuning there instead of a Reno main dealer the car would be worth £500 more to me, means the previous owner knows how to look after the car.

Reno service depts. are generally numpties, but there are one or two that come recommended by people.
