my ecu cover hoder thing broken top right any ideas how much a new one is

Mines failed too, both on the T and my previous 172 Cup. I haven't bothered to replace mine on the T as they fail again, just made my own mount consisting of a cable tie and some tape!

2 large washers on the thead usually sort this out (see photo)
this even happened on my MK1 172.
