As above. I have had the sensor replaced and it is back to intermittently dropping - especially on the motorway.

I am thinking it's an electrical fault (wiring or connection perhaps). But then again my electrical and mechanical knowledge are limited, very limited.

Pretty sure the connection is the first point of call.

Yep unless you know where to feel for it just remove the airbox find the sensor and give it a firm push back in place and you'll probably find it cures it, all my experiences with sensors has been dodgy connections, never a faulty sensor.

I had 2 sensors replaced and in the end, had it re-wired under warranty.
