Hi there, first post on here and hope you can help. Ive got a 2003 Clio Sport and have owned it for 10 months now.

Its a stab in the dark really as im not sure how best to describe this, but when I turn the car left it feels like the back end flips out and the car seems to be really unstable and as if its about to roll and it seems very 'twitchy' and unbalanced. This generally happens at around 25mph+ and more often when there is a bump in the road in the middle of the turn. Someone likened the feeling to being caught by a gust of wind (you know when you go past a lorry on the mway)

It strangely doesnt happen when i turn right. Needless to say, ive lost all confidence in turning the car left. A garage said it may be one of the shocks have 'snapped' but he hasnt got round to looking at it.

Dont really know how to describe it any better. Hope someone can relate. Thanks guys

Sounds like one of the rear shocks is knackered. Probably leaking badly, fairly easy to check. Get underneath and have a look yourself...

had it up on a ramp and sure enough its leaking real bad on the right rear. Reno want £110 for the pair of rears and can get them fitted for £30 so not too painful
