Cambelt and Waterpump?

As a lot of Trophy's mine is coming up to being 5 years old (50k miles) and due for the cambelt to be changed. Is it worth changing the waterpump while at it?

Anybody had experience with waterpump failures?

I did belts recently but not the pump, for the little extra I wish I'd done it at the same time. Not aware that it's a big problem though.

The waterpump is driven off the Aux belt, are you changing the Aux belt too ? If you can afford to change it you may as well but I dont think you will have any problems with it if you dont.

Ive heard that changing the Aux belt can put extra strain on the water pump when its re-tensioned. Ive not heard of many failing though especially below 72K, thats when i would change mine.
