Button on passenger mirror?

Do you guys know what that little black piece of plastic is that sitcks out from under the centre of the passenger mirror?

It does not seem to be on the driver's side... I can't figure it out!!! :-k

Yeah, it's the external temperature sensor where the reading that's displayed on the radio display is taken from.

There's also a hole in the same place in the other mirror, often the cause of annoying whistles at high speed.

Hey, that's interesting!

Great to have it there as it is not affected by engine temperature... although I am sure it does no favours to the aerodynamics of the car...

Currently racing a V6 clio on GT4 to try and get the Superlicence... damn that car is fidgety!

Ah always wondered where that whistling was coming from......

the temp in the 306 used to get progressivily higher all day LOL, it would be near snowing and 39 degrees LOL
