I couldn’t resist taking a picture of them. I had to unpackage them to inspect them for damage, they are all in very good condition, there’s a few with some small scuffs on but nothing major, they all tested firm too.

They’ve sent me an odd pair so I’ve ended up with a passenger side damper which needs to be swapped with a drivers side one, I’m hoping Claude finds an odd one in his delivery.

Just had a rather crazy thought... I'm not sure what the last known RRP was from RenaultSport for the Sachs but, the last time I enquired, I was quoted £3,070. That's one heck of a saving (even if RRP is significantly less than I was quoted!) I'm not sure we all could have raised over £70,000 in less than two days had we been paying the RRP I was quoted...!

I must say, thanks to @Paul Morris for sharing the information about the Sachs in the first place, this never would have happened otherwise.

Thanks to the first few ‘Guinea Pigs’ who ordered a set not knowing what would arrive, without that confirmation there’s no way a group buy would have been initiated.

Thanks to everyone for responding so quickly to the group buy and for paying so quickly. I’m still absolutely amazed at the response, I think almost £11k was sent in less than 24 hours! I appreciate that you trusted me with the money, there were a couple of sleepless nights spent praying that it all went smoothly. I feel a lot better now that they have arrived.

Big thanks to @Claude for taking delivery of the other 13 sets and helping with the distribution for the South and to those who have offered to go out of their way to help with the distribution.

Overall, a solid 10/10 for teamwork.

According to the tracking they're out for delivery again today but looking at the conditions on my residential road I'd be amazed if they make it here today.
