Ash Tray Removal to Access Diagnostic Port

Is this fairly straightforward? Any tips to reduce risk of breaking it?!

Very easy, open the ash tray and pull upwards with the lid. Then Just yank the rest out! its pretty flexible!

it slides straight out so you can empty it in the bin :wink:

To remove the ash try, just pull it upwards. It just slots in. nothing to break really..

You are correct, I have not tried this yet! Good old Renault eh.
I have had German cars before and everything is bolted down with intricate bolts and fittings.
