I got a model of the V6 clio many moons ago, got it from a stall holder at Tatton Park car show...
Thats way before i even thought about a Trophy.. Just thought it looked a cool model in Yellow...
Its not as big as 1-18th, but not as small as 1-43,, something about 1-24th if that scale exists...
Ide be interested to know if a 1-43 or 1-18 was made...
I'd be interested in a model - I searched for one a while back and was disappointed one didn't exist. I thought of re-spraying a standard blue 182 but ran out of enthusiasm!
Hi - as well as being a Trophy geek, am also a 1:18 geek - trying to be the first person ever to get all Le Mans winners in 1:18 (first ever because 4 or 5 or so don't exist, so you need to get them modded or made). I looked into this, and the closest match is the Otto OT047 model, but is LHD, the wheels are wrong, needs a spoiler, etc.
Whilst I like collecting and looking at them, not really into modifying them (tooo many other hobbies), but there are people on forums or commercially who do.... one day I want to get a decent copy of #478 made, as want to own a copy of all the cars I've owned and loved... but you could be talking 2k euros if you went for a commercial builder and wanted to do it "properly". 3D scanned wheels, then 3D printed, etc - you can go nuts making this stuff perfect and believe me there are people out there who do
i am in contact with "les p'tites renault" in order to launch a serial of small scale clio 182 trophy.
they are interested by the project but before to give me a price, they want to know how many small scale have they to be done.
i found some discussions about the same subject and i think to start with 100 models minimum for the quote.
give me your feeling about it
i keep you post for more information like scall proposed.......
