Received my RSTuner Pro today from Henk at Fastchip.
Just finished setting it all up and have already backed up my current ECU files. The software is very easy to install and operate.
Will load Henks new 98Ron performance map tomorrow and report back.
Looking forward to sending him my...

Hi all,
Now our new website is up and running and most of the problems are sorted we are now ready to make some special offers to the clubs that look after us most
The idea of this thread is we will keep making offers specific to this forum and its member/users and rather then making...
Just found a typhoon for clio 172 cup, year 00-05, i didnt think K&N did a typhoon for clio engines? Its on needforspeed.com. This would fit straight onto a 182 as they have the same engine. Ive checked the K&N website and it hasnt got one listed? My mate has one on his accord type-r and the...
As stated in title what shall I opt for as next motor?
R26
Pro's - handling, style, extra room (enough for a bike), 230 bhp, warranty, 57 plate
Con's - build quality, renault deprciation
350z
Pro's - more style, rare, build quality, performance, handling, engine, holds value
Con's -...
Ok this is quite interesting (i think anyway)
So what is my dream next car?
And what's yours?
I'm not talking supercars, but in the real world what are you thinking of getting next.
Hello all,
I'm sure you've noticed i've been away for a few months and all has been quiet on my part.
Suffice to say after a broken elbow, torn thigh muscle, 2 fractured wrists, a dislocated thumb, 1 desktop and 2 laptop meltdowns and an unfortunate sudden death of a friend in australia...
Im so excited...my dad decided to give up his side of the garage and so me and my brother have just placed an order at westfield for our very own megabusa which we are building ourselves.
we pick all the parts and panels sometime in early-mid december and then its all go go go to get it ready...
Power at wheels: 142.4 Bhp
Power at flywheel: 185.6 Bhp (corrected)
Maximum torque: 154.1 lb ft @ 5664 Rpm
Quite dissapointed really. :( It was tested at Northampton Motorsport this afternoon. Outside temp: 19c. Whats happened Ben? Where is my quoted 200+? I expected...
Hi guys and gals!
Got my car through its first mot today, passed with flying colours! Also had a full service, so the car feels like new now.
I was talking to the mechanic, saying i wanted to put a sport manafold and a bigger exhaust on it, and his words where, and i quote! ''Its already...
Has anyone driven one?
I had a drive in one yesterday and i have to say i was mightily impressed. Steering, handling, and brakes are all very very good. Its not Trophy 'chuckable' on the country roads but i was surprised at how nimble it felt and how much grip there was - especially as its a...
I thought it would be interesting to see just what can be had if you were to sell up, had no idea it would bag this little lot!

Well... which car? :)
I find myself looking longingly at the Liquid Yellow (without scum stickers) Megane R26 that blasts the opposite direction to myself every afternoon on the way home from work. I just think it's a gorgeous car, and I think I may have to own one.
Being less realistic...
I was very excited to read about the new Japanese Civic type R. Apart from a boring 4 door saloon body, the prospect of 225 PS, 8,400 rev limit, reasonable torque, Brembo 4 pot callipers, 18" lightweight rims, gear type LSD, proper independent rear suspension etc was very tempting. Still not a...
Hello, just wondering, as I have no experience of the clio sport range on how easy it is to tune the trophy or a basic 182 to 200hp? I am a believer in keeping rare, unique cars as standard as possible so subtle mods would be preffered! What have other members done?
Cheers this is my...
Coming up for my 24K service and just wanted to know where people near me went. I live near stansted.
All I seem to hear is ren-tech, ren-tech, but there is no way im going to portsmoth to service my car! well maybe lol
Cheers
Hello all,
I'm David and I'm thinking of getting a Clio Trophy. :) I currently drive an Audi TT Quattro Sport (that I've only owned for six weeks!) and before that I had a Ford Focus RS. I keep reading about how great the Trophy is and it's gradually drawing me in. I suspect I could have a...

My Trophy has developed a subtle engine fault over the last couple of months. There is a distinct missfire at 2500 RPM (in neutral) and has become a little sluggish under acceleration, especially from lower revs. It sounds rough too. I have also noticed a rumble, in tick-over, from the cambelt...
I've had tommy for 8 months & just getting used to it, done almost 5k in that time.
Yet i see owners who have recently bought, selling up.
Is it a i've had 'one' kinda thing & move on to the next 'best thing'????
Has anybody been infected with the petrol problem? Just been listhening to the news, said i no.
Should think most people will be using V-Power from shell and wont have been affected. Thousands of people have had problems mainly using Morrisons and Tescos petrol. Now we all know why it...
I've just joined the 20k mile club. and what better trip to bring the trophy in to the 20's than a trip to brands hatch! Although sadly i wasn't driving round the track.
Who else is a member of this elite trophy driving group? lol
....right, get the grey matter working....
I'm embarking on a project car for track use.... any ideas of what to start with..
must have's:
Rear wheel drive.. so all reno's are out bar the GTA
Sub £5k purchase price
At least 2 seats - Formula ford's are out
at least a 2 ltr engine...
Back from the rolling road today and my lightly modded Trophy made...
174.6bhp!!!!!!
I wasn't too upset though as all the standard 182's are reported to never put out more than 168-169bhp. Poor show Renault I say. 7MAT's was the most powerful Trophy there and put out 180bhp!
Torque...
Firstly as a new member to the forum i'd like to say hi to everybody.
Right here it goes...
I'm 19 years old living in nottinghamshire, and have loved clios for years. I own a 2004 1.4 dynamique in black, which has been my pride and joy for about a year and a half. Even though I havent...
Found this on the web.
There's another aspect of the Trophy that might help melt your heart, too. It's handbuilt to a remarkable degree, at Renault's Alpine factory in Dieppe that used to make rear-engined Alpine sports cars. The factory still has the Alpine logo outside and the line...
