I Managed to get the car on a 4 poster ramp today, the front anti roll bar bushes, inner and outer are shot. I'll ask my mate in the garage to see if hell swap them out as I don't fancy rolling about on the floor in this weather!

I thought the same in regards to the pre loading, I'll jack it up again in the next few days. Something else I seen online whilst searching was to check the balljoint nut and bolt to see if they're tight.

Thanks Marc, is there anyway if testing them with the car jacked up? There's no play in anything side to side or top to bottom when grabbing the wheel.

Evening folks, hope you've had a great Christmas. So going over speed bumps and some of the more "challenging potholes" I get a knock from the front. It can't be felt through the steering, if I drive over the speed bumps around here ( full width of the road, tarmac) with the brakes applied...

A friend of mine has a Z cars converted mini. It's running an R1 engine.

Try the alarm sensor under the bonnet, It's on the right hand side of th slam panel. See if you can push it up from underneath, if you can that's more than likely the problem 😊

I love a classic range rover! Very nice. As photo_ ed says good paint shops are hard to come by these days, I have a series 2A land rover.

All fitted, the guy put it on a 4 poster ramp as I pointed out it could be jacked up on the rear beam and front suspension points. Didn't have much of a chance to try them out on the way home as the traffic was bad. I also qualify for a £40 cashback with a deal from Michelin.

I don't think I've seen one in the flesh before, I know one used to live in the area as a workmate told me his friend had one a while back. Apart from that I don't know of any others.

They've already phoned me and asked if I can make the appointment a little earlier so they don't have to rush. They've had some excellent reviews on Google and trust pilot too. I'll be advising them where I want the car jacked up etc.

There's AD08's on it now, and although not illegal they're low on tread. The front of the car is scrabbling about a bit on uneven surfaces, I had the same symptoms many moons ago on a Escort Rs Turbo.

I have Michelins on my other car, I'm a fan of them tbh. ATS have them the cheapest it serms. £512 for four fitted and balanced.
