So we still need to get another 3 people interested for the 10% off? I'm up for this asap so i assume once we have 10, people can just ring up and pay their deposit and recieve their bits 2/3 weeks afterwards regardless of whether its the end of july or before?

1. Sir_Dave (normal rears &...
Dave, are we going to have a cut off date where we can then place the order with mark so us guys wanting the revalved dampers can have them in a reasonable time + organise front damper refurbs to tie in. Seems we have 6 on the list now, have updated below, please add if you want standard or...
Right ok, so its £581.63 for the mf spec rear dampers + springs normally and £536.97 with the gb discount (+£15 postage) just to clarify? I'm in but i think we need a cut off so everyone can be confirmed in plenty of time to allow delivery at the end of july. Theres a lead time of a couple of...
Definately, especially if it's not far away. Probably won't have had belts or dampers done but at that money it's still cheap IMO and could get the jobs done at the specialist of your choice as and when you get a chance. Bet it's not for sale long.
Russ
Nice one dave, get the details up when you can. I would have phoned mark for a chat but been away at a wedding all week. Any discount is a bonus really if mist of us where going to upgrade anyway. I'd certainly be pleased with 10% off.
Russ
Not meaning to jump on your thread dave but i think there are a few people that are after the MF bits, myself included. I wonder if theres any chance he would do a group buy for 5+ full sets of springs and rear re-valved konis? Anybody in regular contact with him or know him well?
Russ
Thanks for the clarification, see the wheel on your LY and looks really good. Was it a lucky ebay/breakers find or did you shell big money at the stealers? Theres a brand new wheel minus airbag on the bay for £150 or so but obviously the airbag still needs bought from somewhere.
Russ
Thought it was cheaper than that tbh, somewhere in the region of £450 for the rear dampers and x4 springs inc vat. I'd like to do it to mine but think it may be a job for over the winter when i get the fronts rebuilt/unpinned.
Russ
There's a massive thread on cliosport somewhere about it, it's basically a straight physical fit but its all the the airbag stuff that needs altered. The plugs etc are different, in theory you can obviously connect them together somehow/modify the plugs but unless you crash, which is not...
Not been far at all tbh ben apart from the long journey back from purchase, today was the first time I've had a minute lately. I still need to check the allignment and have a good look on the ramp at the front suspension, had a poke around today and seems ok so we'll see. Gonna try and sort a...
Been off work today so done a couple of jobs on the Trophy. First was to replace the drivers side mirror glass as it was cracked, renault wanted £26 for the glass only so i told them to whistle and swapped the glass from the mirror on my PH1 whilst its sat doing nothing.
Next on the list was...
Thanks guys, gonna get it on the ramp in the first instance and see what i can see, will do the alignement at the same time. I have some new solid top mounts and some new bottom arms i bought for my phase 1 that i can try anyway, see where i get.

Got a couple of issues regarding the handling on my Trophy, i need to have a poke about on the ramp just haven't had a chance yet. Basically the steering feels a little sticky just either side of straight ahead, also seems to have very little self centering action, as in if you're on full lock...
Yeah ben definately should get them altogether.
Shfitspark, ph1 is still here and in bits, lsd is in the gearbox and ready to bolt back on to the engine and i've just bought a full charger kit so things are getting pretty interesting! Just need to get time to get the shell painted now.
Russ
It needs a service + cambelt + the ac re gassed but apart from that nothing (unusual for a clio) wrong with it. Has x4 pe2's all with loads of tread, recent discs + pads etc and body work is very good, no sign of paint work and nearly zero stonechips, has plenty of wax/polish on as well that i...
Just picked it up yestersday, it involved a lift to the airport from my dad at an unholy hour, a flight from newcastle to gatwick, my mate picked me up from the airport and gave me a lift to brighton then i drove the 376 miles home in it! If you'd seen it up for sale you'll have seen it had...
Putting my Alpine headunit up for sale as i'm not going to put it in the Clio, was from my previous car. Its full speed ipod compatible + has no cd player just the radio and ipod/usb. The full spec's are an easy find on the net as i could type all day about what it does and features it has...
Yeah priced a splitter up from renault today while i was in £140 + vat he said and he'd wouldn't discount
Any pics of the skoda fabia one? Is it pretty similar to oe?
