Of course, you don't tend to stay in business for long these days if you are absolutely shit at what you do. To be honest I hadn't really heard anything until I got on this thread, as mentioned they seem to be more popular over on ClioSport but that does come with its own cost. All it takes is...
I spotted another 2/3 Trophy’s in that video so the extra(?) promotion seems to be working. They have had no discussion on here, that I can see. Is it more of a Cliosport thing?
That must of caused a sharp intake of breath, must have been quite tough to see. But kudos for your great attitude, everything is fixable. I think you will have a few of us keeping an eye on things down there, so no bad thing.
This popped into my feed earlier as well. I have been seeing a few of their posts just recently and I was wondering about their reputation.
Sad to see this one in that state but you know, sometimes life just gets in the way and tomorrow becomes several years down the road, I know.
Obviously there is the Powerflex option that has been discussed on the boards previously. Maybe not as elegant as OE and tbh unproven in terms of performance but would allow you to get them on the car.
So 307 has finally been booked in for a refurbish after a long stay in storage and for one reason or another the car with need to be transported to the garage. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom or any experience. The AA use a company called AnyVan which doesn’t fill me with confidence but...
This same issue used to drive me nuts until I stumbled upon the fact that if I moved the leads under the passenger seat the lights would go out. I cable tied them up to the bottom of the seat.
Ever so slightly jealous of all this as it is an itch I am unlikely scratch. 172 cup AND hillclimbin, that sounds a lot of fun.
Interesting (though unsurprising) that you are fitting Sachs. I wasn’t sure you would be able to swap out to different suspension. What geometry are you going to go...
It’s a shame GeorgeK is not still on the site, he used to hillclimb his trophy in “out of the box” class but was constantly looking at ways to tweak the undercarriage etc. In the end he swapped it out for a Honda something as it was just not competitive enough in class. Still racing though, I...
As breaking seems to be pre loading and cancelling the knock I would go for anti roll bar bushes but could be any of the above. Probably not something you can wiggle to occur maybe?
As I mentioned in a previous post(?) as a last resort, the Powerflex covers will fit over the original bump stop.
Below, the Powerflex cover with original bump stop is fitted to the damper, original gaitor is to the right.
I hope I’m not stating the obvious (I guess I am) that that looks pretty bad and unexpected to be honest. A good reminder to the rest of us to check our (made of cheese) jacking points.
Yes please if still available. I was convinced I had bought both upper and lower parts years ago. Anyway I only have the uppers and the above will at least allow me a spare when it begins to get brittle and crack. Yup, they do that!
I’m a little late to the party on this. I may be interested but I can‘t remember what I have. I can check this afternoon after work. Don’t feel you need to wait though.
Is not the Megs stuff for internal trim?
Colour wise, I would say off black. Gtechniq C4 is my weapon of choice here.
Does anyone know how to safely remove the sticker inserts? Mine are now fairly bleached and crispy 😕
