Sorry to hear that mate, that's really bad luck :( Same engine in all 182's mate. You can even drop a 172 lump in as they are 99.9% the same and will offer the same power output.

Yes, it is a shame. It's definitely a car that should be enjoyed and seems a little 'out-of-place' in his collection to be honest!

I believe there's a 172 Cup with 13,500 miles on it in a collection that my good friend looks after... however, that will likely never be sold and I don't think it's even been driven in the last 5 years (other than turning the engine over and keeping it fresh and maintained).
