The only other thing it may be are the rear pads fitted correctly. IE are the tabs on the rear of the pads seated into the piston groves.
Did you clamp off the pipes when working on the rears so no fluid could return to the master cylinder when you push the pistons back?
as this can sometimes...
If the noise was a de-phaser you would be able to hear it louder under the bonnet with the engine running.
As hoolio said its difficult to diagnose remotely but i suspect it is the carbon canister control valve opening and closing
these are mounted on the off side front and can transmit noise...
I have tried lots of stuff to clean the belts, the autoglym interior cleaner is the only thing that shifts it.
As said you need to pull them right out and use a scrubbing brush and plenty of the stuff and hot water, but it DOES work.
Drive shaft wise this is normal for the clips to break which lets some of the grease out onto the wheel etc,If you catch them soon enough you can just replace the outer boot, repack the joint and all for about £8.
Done both outers on mine.
Hi all,
As my user name would suggest i do like a bit of carbon fibre so i decided to treat the 'T' to some inside
here are the results;
It's the real thing NOT a wrap,it's called 4x4 twill which gives it a more 3D look rather than the normal 2x2 sheet
so basically removed all the...
Hi Stormduck,
I guess you are using non genuine parts? the item on the original shaft acts like a damper and would come on a genuine
replacement part.
As for non gen parts, when they are striped for recon this would be taken off the shaft in order to inspect, paint etc. etc.
its not a vital...
You DONT need to remove any parts to replace the exterior door bullets ! they just clip on with 3 clips be brave and they will come off.
easy for some thieving ba****d to take one of mine a while ago.
BTW agree keep them silver.
Aucky.
are you replacing with new genuine units? have you got a delivery date yet.
Thats a good plan as at least you will get the 12 months parts warranty on genuine Renault items :)
yeah but they aren't stickers originally they are a kind of painted stencil and wheel cleaner takes them off over time.
i guess from that yours never had any :)

So you take your 'used' pc in for repair and they fix it,they also give you a 12 month guarantee on 'their' work.
This is a standard practice imo BG should do similar as peace of mind. just my views
Try here http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/productlist.asp?type=s&view=range&rid=61&mid=2 if you cant see what you need call them they are recaro agents.
If its the tilt lever your after its £6.60 each.
There seems to be a common problem here ? the original factory fit shocks seem to out last any having under gone a refurb.
My near side has covered 72K and is starting to knock over bumps, the off side still ok(was changed within the 3yr warranty at 40K )
Your thoughts on this?
I think they just deal with the internals of the shocks at BG.so you might want to paint them when they return.
Its always good practice to replace nuts and bolts if you can, same for the top mount.you dont want to be doing things twice lol.
Just out of interest does anyone know how much the MF...
You can put an axle stand under the front subframe or on the chassis rail, you will need to jack it quite high depending on your stands.
I always use a trolley jack and would never trust the car jack
J333evo 'TBH I preferred my Goodyear Eagle F1's on my Clio to the PS2's'
Dont you find the Goodyear noisy with that aggressive V pattern its just like a wheel bearing gone on the road
I have the V12 evo's on the megane good tyre but dont last as long as the mich.
  Good work there marc, so somebody some where in Renault land has these on the shelf then ?
I would expect a good up take on here if you get more i would certainly take a couple of complete sets from you.
