For keeping the car off the road for months. I.e. disconnect battery, CTEK charger, full tank of fuel, fresh oil… What’s worthwhile and where do you draw the line.

Jesus Christ. I’m assuming that’s the dephaser and water pump in all these costs? My dephaser has managed 9 years no problem and the first one managed 10 years no problem (AFAIK) so you can save on that at least in my experience.

I use 182 cup dampers. Rik Perry mentioned on here a few years ago now that when he compared the cup and trophy rear dampers the difference was negligible.

Thanks, if anyone wants to back that up please go ahead. For what it's worth the bearings definitely want to fit nicely in that way, they're on the tight side the other way.
