How do you know these are Twingo ones and is there any actual performance difference between those and the ones on the Trophy?

I'd echo that. Clearly been looked after and the cambelt has just been done. All for under £5k.

Why does this happen with all the basic car valuations with the Trophy?

The way they deal with poor tarmac is extraordinary. Have had some properly rough thumps over poor surfaces and the car always, absolutely always feels tied down and in total control.

Cheers for the above posts- was thinking for these parts specifically. I don't have any immediate plans for such stuff but figure next time the dampers need a refurb could be ideal. Would be curious as to what rear suspension components are worth replacing outwith the springs and shocks too.

Refreshing this as the link here is now expired. Would anyone be able to list the parts numbers for a full suspension refresh as a handy guide please? The RPD website is a bit of a pig to try and filter through these days.

If it was my car and I was willing to wait a while I'd stick it up at £6k. You can always come down.

It's not rude but it's not unreasonable to debate the merits of some of the suggestions. What are the chances of the water pump failing before the next auxiliary belt change? I would expect to comfortably get 8 years out of a water pump. If it ends up needing replaced before then, which is...

Even with a dephaser and water pump that are only on around 36k miles? I've had my fair share of preventative maintenance over the years in the form of thousands of pounds across a few cars but even so that seems excessive to expect to replace them every 5 years on so few miles surely? There...

Is it not excessive though? How overplayed is the dephaser issue if the original can do almost 80k miles in 10 years and still be fine? Water pump can be done without doing the cambelt can it not?

Trophy is due its second cambelt in my ownership in the next month. What else should I get replaced that may be original that can only be done when the cambelt is coming off? The dephaser and water pump were already replaced last time at 10 years old and were fine so that's 2 things I won't be...

It was always my 'realistic' dream car. I got it at just the right time, I'd have missed the boat if I was to try and get one now.

I had my Trophy alongside an e39 M5 (epic car) for about 2 years. I do miss not having a genuinely quick (rather than nippy) car but it's not the end of the world. Having both was definitely the ideal scenario.

That first one wasn't immediate after parking up, maybe within 20 mins. I'll check tonight after the car has been sat for a while and compare again in the morning.

I'll keep an eye on this but these photos show parking up after getting petrol last night (50) and first thing this morning (47).

This sound is a weird one, only notice it at slow speed, just before stopping really. Definitely to do with the brakes themselves and not rotation though as if I tap the pedal repeatedly at <5mph it will make the sound with every pedal press. Will get these fitted and take it from there...

Ahh that explains why it wouldn't appear in a search. Are you positive they're all compatible then? The compatibility check on these don't match but I take it with a pinch of salt...

Struggling to find these listed anywhere, can anyone point me in the right direction? Front ones are no issue to find but I'm told the pins in the rear of mine are worn. To the point the rear brakes can make a bit of a racket if you pulse the pedal when coming to a standstill.
