My Trophy - Number 474......... now REDUCED to £10995

Just found out that mine get's in to the country tomorrow so should be picking up on Sat. I was lucky enough to have a very sympathetic salesman who let me go for a proper run round some of my favourite roads. I was massively impressed with it :D The trophy still feels great, but the R26 just...

Sounds like Steve to me! Were you up at the Racecourse for the fast & furious show? I was going to head up, but never got the time in the end.

Trophy #185 - new home needed! Price dropped to £10,000!

Bumpety bump. She's still waiting for a new special friend!!! No splitter as I just thought it looked a bit naff. Toyed with the idea of a carbon jobby from Ktec, but it's really nice not to have to worry about grounding it on a speed bump. Pretty much certain that the roof stickers will...

Thanks Steve, knew I could rely on you to sort out my inability to spot my own errors in the text!!! The R26 gets here on Thursday next week (if Renault make good on promises) so should be picking it up on Sat 30th all going well. Still very unsure about the decals, but I'll leave them on...

    M25 Anti-clockwise Saturday about Junction 11ish

Might well have been me I think. Was coming back from Kingston at about 2ish (maybe a bit later?) Was a nice drive back actually, the road's were pretty clear!

Trophy #185 - new home needed! Price dropped to £10,000!

Update!! Scrape down the side is now out. Had MCWS (Eastbourne base valet - guy called Andy who was top notch) round today to take a look and he had it out within minutes. Said that it was a tyre mark rather than a bumper, hence no dent or scratch. Will get some pics up asap. I'm a...

Trophy #185 - new home needed! Price dropped to £10,000!

It's a Blue Flame mate, fits very nicely and sounds great. Nice pops and burbles when cold and a bit throatier when warm. Just sounds like the original should have really.

Trophy #185 - new home needed! Price dropped to £10,000!

It's noticable, but just barely. The thing is, it's noticeable by the residue, from what I can tell, the paint itself doesn't even have a scratch. Do you travel Ady or would it be a quick blast down to Portsmouth for me? I'm quite keen to have it properly sorted before it sells.

Was lucky enough to catch the blockheads (with Ian Dury) just before he died down at the Portsmouth guildhall. Great gig, great man, great band. RIP Ian. Thanks for the music.

Trophy #185 - new home needed! Price dropped to £10,000!

Does anyone know any good detailers close to Brighton who could have a look at the scrape down the side for me? The more I look at it, the more it annoys me!! I wan't the Trophy in pristine condition again so that the new owner can enjoy her as much as I have!

What you going for Gareth? Am I going to get you in trouble if I say I've seen you on Meganesport.net?!!! The R26 is the new Trophy!!!! blasphemy - and a joke. It's just got back seats and a turbo.

Trophy #185 - new home needed! Price dropped to £10,000!

Having tried everything I can to find a way of keeping the Trophy, it's becoming clear that finances simply will not allow it. The new R26 is on it's way and should be here at the end of the month and therefore my pride and joy has got to find a new home. I am the second owner of the car, it...

    Another Trophy dilemma?! !

I've spoken with Greenlight about the insurance situation and they have said that they can't play it. If I'm registered keeper of 2 cars and have her as a named driver on one, then the underwriters will just assume that she will be the main driver of that car and will therefore void my NCB...

    Another Trophy dilemma?! !

It seems that my ability to say no to things is about as bad as ever. I've been mulling over an R26 now for a while and I appear to have put a deposit down today!! Now, although very excited by the new R26 - Black with Xenons and Decals - can always take them off with a hairdryer if I change...

What Can You See Yourself Replacing Your Trophy With?

I'm getting dangerously tempted by an R26 now. Dealers down the road have got a black demonstrator at the moment and have expressed a keen interest in taking the trophy off my hands. I'm starting to think that it might be a good idea. I haven't got the luxury of being able to have two cars and...

West bound on A27 between Portsmouth and Shampton

I was in the outside lane heading East just before Cosham about 3:45 this afternoon. You were belting it past in the other direction, don't know whether you clocked me too? No chance for a flash or a wave as I only clocked you as you went flying past in the opposite direction!

Longest distance you've been on a full tank?

I had a run from Brighton to Bournemouth and back for work yesterday and thought it would be a good chance to actually look at a the true mpg rather than the car's idea of it! Came out at exactly 28.5mpg which made me laugh tbh. £30 for 200 miles Seeing as it was a fairly spirited...

    Is this a good deal?

Check out the 'faults with your trophy' thread for the most common issues, but there's nothing major to look out for. I would check the following: Does the passenger seat rattle? Has it been fixed under warranty already? Usual check re Oil change etc. Has it been tracked? tbh, it doesn't...
