Yeah just need to get some trim panels now to make it perfect - the small one by the drivers side looks to have been scuffed from keys.
Anyone got a set?
Fitted a new heater panel this morning.
Went from this:
to this:
Wasn't as hard as I expected - fun part it removing it out the gap, I found tilting it backwards then put the LH side backwards and across to the left it would come out RH side first. (hard to explain).
I have now removed them from the car - one of the tabs on the RH light has cracked see picture below, but all others ok.
Located on the Wirral although drive to York/Birmingham most weeks.
Lights now removed from car:
Top tab on RH light.
Selling a few bit to return the car back to standard - not sure of prices so offers accepted.
172 Xenon lights (pair) good condition £100
172 rear bench - £50 but will need standard bench if possible
Front spacers - 20mm - £40
Engine cover (complete with bolts) £30
Any questions...
Its back from the body shop, spent most of the morning cleaning the inside of all the dust and then gave it a quick wash.
I bought the car with Rik, but I've ended up owning it which is no bad thing.
Dan has really looked after this car - documented everything that has been done as expected...
I just need to pull my finger out and get the sachs fitted to the car, yet to drive a trophy as it should - kudos as always for enabling more trophy owners to refit and enjoy sachs dampers.
I don't drive my trophy very often, but this morning was out sat at a set of lights and old chap pulled up along side pointing for me to wind the window down - I expect he wants to tell me a brake light or something was out, but no.
He just was interested in the car and seemed to appreciate...
Going to feel a million miles different to forced induction. It took me some time to love the NA route. They are a good motor for the money - keep with it and you'll understand. Welcome to the madness!!
