I had my Trophy alongside an e39 M5 (epic car) for about 2 years.
I do miss not having a genuinely quick (rather than nippy) car but it's not the end of the world.
Having both was definitely the ideal scenario.
That first one wasn't immediate after parking up, maybe within 20 mins.
I'll check tonight after the car has been sat for a while and compare again in the morning.
Any common or likely issues that could cause this?
This becomes more inconsistent in the last quarter of a tank where it can vary quite a bit. Fuel light can come on way earlier than it should given the needle position.
First sign of a problem was a while ago now when I'd park the car after...
This sound is a weird one, only notice it at slow speed, just before stopping really.
Definitely to do with the brakes themselves and not rotation though as if I tap the pedal repeatedly at <5mph it will make the sound with every pedal press.
Will get these fitted and take it from there...
Mmm strange.
Wouldn't be the first time there's been an odd part discrepancy. The front anti-roll bar brackets were a mini saga for me.
Ended up getting them here- https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/metalcaucho-8538068.html
Cheap shit and neither even matched each other for size, one managed to...
No idea why I said 9 there, did mean 4!
He was told they were NLA from Renault hence me looking at options. That being said, £50 excluding VAT is extortionate!
Ahh that explains why it wouldn't appear in a search.
Are you positive they're all compatible then? The compatibility check on these don't match but I take it with a pinch of salt...
Struggling to find these listed anywhere, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Front ones are no issue to find but I'm told the pins in the rear of mine are worn.
To the point the rear brakes can make a bit of a racket if you pulse the pedal when coming to a standstill.
Was in touch with K-tec who wanted £24 for one off a car they were breaking.

They're based on the older part number. I ordered 2 and they even managed to look different to each other which didn't fill...
From everything I've heard it's the first number and Renault now no longer supply both.
That second number does appear on some of the sites Phil mentioned though.
I've asked the garage to enquire, I shall report back one way or another and hopefully spread the good word.
Have found a few threads now online with a similar story but no end result better than getting one from a breaker.
This is a copy and paste job from the cliosport forum, in a bit of a bind at the minute.
One of mine is broken and the garage and RPD are having trouble sourcing these, seems Renault no longer supply. What other options are there given it's just a cheap bracket?
Assume other folk have had this...
I don't agree with that necessarily.
You can get a decent one for less than £6k that's just on higher miles. Mine must still be worth about £5k on 108k miles and there's no way it isn't 'a decent one'.
I'm in if it's all guaranteed they're the correct spec with confirmation.
On the plastic tubing front, I did this in 2017 with stuff I bought off amazon and it's easy enough with hot water and penetrating oil. Will link to the stuff when I get a chance.
I could well be interested.
In the interests of fairness though, given we're not talking about loads of these, would it be fairer to limit it to one set per member?
Obviously it's entirely up to you but given they're officially out of production it would help more owners.
