Just to throw my thought in, have you looked at the last shape MR2, it’s a completely different drive being mid engined rear wheel drive but like the trophy very rewarding, a friend of mine has one and it’s a lesson every time.

This sounds similar to mine the other night but mine went into limp home mode, I wonder if it could be your throttle body, I cleaned mine (easy to take off and clean with wd40) but the codes will still need erasing

For me the best thing about the trophy was the accessible nature of its performance and handling on a country lane, that’s why I’ve kept mine, elevating those attributes takes it beyond me or the roads I drive on.

Just took delivery of two pilot sport 3’s from black circle.com £130 a tyre delivered in two days, just posting as I know these tyres can be hard to find.

Good news it opened this morning in the warmer weather, I think the cable has stretched to its limits so it’s something to fix/ adjust, but at lease I can fix the trickle charger now. :)

Hi both the inside lever goes all the way up, without popping the bonnet, I’m going to have another go when I have someone to hold it up while I bounce the bonnet, it’s going to be a right pain if it doesn’t budge

Wiper linkage broken, it’s getting harder to find parts to keep our pride and joys running, as this is common to all Clio’s of this age it didn’t occur to me it would be this hard to find, any tips or leads welcome

I use my trophy as my daily driver

Really enjoying the Clio as it clocked 100,000 miles, new bushes, spark plugs and its yearly oil change. I’ve had it from new and still love it’s zest for life on the country lanes near me. :)

I just thought I’d update this thread as it’s not gone as smoothly as I hoped. I had fitted a pair of new lower wishbones (ktech racing ones) they come with the bushes fitted. But the garage says they are incorrect and they have altered the tracking too much to be the correct part for the car...

Hi all I’m in the process of freshening up the suspension with new lower wishbones and bushes, I’ve just noticed powerflex offer inner anti roll bar bushes in 23mm and 25mm to fit 172/182 Clio’s anyone know what the trophy needs?
