Powerflex 25mm inner & 23mm outer & good luck with fitting the inners.

RPD for the OE parts

or Autodoc for £10

EMB7087 QUINTON HAZELL Stabiliser Mounting Rubber Bush (autodoc.co.uk)
31008 FEBI BILSTEIN Stabiliser Mounting Front axle both sides, Outer, Elastomer (autodoc.co.uk)

The outer clamps 546141405R can rot through, so I would inspect them before you start work.

546141405R superseded from this part number.

29446 ORIGINAL IMPERIUM Bracket, stabilizer mounting (autodoc.co.uk)

I have measured the bar 8200104120, common to all Ph2`s, and the outer bar diameter is actually 24mm.

Last time I did mine I had the subframe off already so it was considerably easier to fit them. I replaced the original bolts with longer ones so that it would be easier to replace them next time.

The inner 23mm bush is only for non sport cars such as 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 & dci.

Perhaps this will clarify this subject for you.

Yes, they were 25mm for the inner and 23mm for the outer. These were the parts I ordered and fitted at the time…

Powerflex Front Anti-Roll Bar Inner Mount (x2) - PFF60-202-25

Powerflex Front Anti-Roll Bar Outer Mount (x2) - PFF60-207-23

I just thought I’d update this thread as it’s not gone as smoothly as I hoped. I had fitted a pair of new lower wishbones (ktech racing ones) they come with the bushes fitted. But the garage says they are incorrect and they have altered the tracking too much to be the correct part for the car. Ktech stand by the product and say since going on sale after testing they have had no returns. So I’m caught in the middle as you often are when you supply the parts. The anti roll bar bushes went on fine. I honestly thought this would be the easy part!

Many years ago, I bought a £50 wonder 1750 Allegro, with MOT from Milton Keynes car auction.

It wasn`t half bad, with the exception of the track rod ends, which were totally shot.

I fitted a pair of new Quinton Hazell`s at £ 5 a side, and took it down the local tyre shop on Stacey Bushes, and asked them to set

the tracking.

"OK, come back in an hour" he said.

On my return he says " Problem, your track rod ends are seized"

" Show me " I said.

So there he was, underneath the car on the ramp, swinging off a 21mm spanner on the lock nut.

" Totally seized, will need heat and new ones " he said

I said " I`ll have to think about that, can you put it back on the floor please? "

He did this, so I opened the passenger door, reached in, and picked up the invoice for the TRE`s, and the 2 boxes with the old one`s

in from the footwell, gave them to him and said

" Strange that, I took these off this morning, if you`ve got a 19mm spanner, I`ll show where to put it "
