Hi Mark
Interesting this as a few engine failures have been reported on MS over the last few weeks, in those cases the majority appeared to be in the north of the country and running on V Power. Worrying to think that maybe fuel grades are deteriorating across all suppliers
A Harlow...
Yep my plate but I didn't put the brake upggrade on, it was totally std and in mint condition, immaculate, when I traded it in for a LY R26 from a dealer near Tonbridge.
Just did funny enough and got 888's for £136 each of Camskill! A price that was quickly taken off the website :D
Enjoy the 200 when you get it though Rex, sounds the biz, love that colour.
Glad to see Mark's talents are being fully expoited, he's a top bloke and the only person who touches my .R and previously my Trophy.
Loooong way from glasgow though!
Tophy memories....
Now have an R26 but great times squeezing my Merlin, wrapped up in two huge bike bags to protect the bike and the car, into the back of the trophy! Just fits but had to drive with kness chaffing on my stubble :D
Great place Bedgebury, i'll look out for the two of you next...
high_altitude, congratulations! That's my former pride and joy and you right to be pleased, 093 is, like it's history, immaculate. I was gutted to see him go to be honest but just needed a change.
It's a blessed car and unlike my 2 year old, no trouble whatsoever so look after it.
pm me if you...
My Trophy is a cracking car and as genuine as you'll find.
I was the second owner of it. I bought it from a similarly besotted owner who had it for 5.5k but needed something more economical to commute to Docklands in.
The R26 is a great package and i'm enjoying the extra comfort but i'll let...
It's done.
And I'm absolutely loving it :D
Mark was a top bloke and the car is just in mint condition throughout.
Haven't had any back road blasts yet but so far it feels super smooth and planted. I'll keep you posted on progress.
24k, just serviced, mot'd, taxed and two new front tyres.
Absoultely prsitine example that has been permagarded twice. I won't waffle on so pm me if you're interested.
Probably being part ex'd on saturday so be quick.
£8500
Still undecided but comments appreciated.
I'm not really looking to go up the ladder as such, sideways is fine with me, I just fancy a change but for something that has many of the Trophy's qualities and the R26 seems to be that car. I think It's a bit more modern, quicker, more comfortable...
Feet are itching again and it's the same old R26 that's causing it.
I've been offered a 6,000 mile R26 with xenons for an additional 5.5k with part/x on my 24k mint, new front PE2's, serviced, mot'd and taxed Trophy.
Shall I ???? Is it a [-X or a
Basically 8k for mine 13.5k for...
The warranty ran out on the 13th!
I have the MOT centre boss phoning me soon i'll let you now what he says, but I think you're right about the O2 sensor.
I spoke to Mark Fish about it and he reckons leave it unitl it's booked in with him on the 7th August, for new tyres, and if it...
Had the MOT done yesterday and when I picked it up the exhaust gas monitor light was on (engine shape symbol on the vertical right hand side).
What may have caused this, will it go out and can I blame it on the garage or just one of those things that happen during MOT's?
Renauly want £50 to...
All done and for free :)
They replaced the lower ball joint and the lower arm, the ecu bracket and the sump gasket all under warranty and without any dispute. Great service in all, apart form a mix up with my identity but a minor detail really.
I then had to pay a visit to MARK Fish to sort...
Thanks for that Gazza, will definitely keep in mind. I didn't consider Braintree. I work 1 minute from Darlingtons Harlow so, depsite my reservations, it's currently being operated on there! Some corrective surgery will undoubtedly be needed.
I've had no phone calls yet so fingers crossed it's...
The steering wheel suddenly settled slightly off centre and the steering turning left seems to have stiffened but not anything major.
Renault are currently looking at it so i've started work on my defence material, hopefully never to be aired. We'll see.
Just had the 24,000 mile service carried out at Mark Fish, but with only 22k on the clock and he's found that the n/s lower ball joint is shot! Mark thinks it should be covered by the warranty but the by the reaction i received when booking the car in at Renault i'm not so sure they share his...
Never say never. I may well hang onto it for another 5 years, I could quite easily. We'll see what happens.
If I do sell, we'll have to meet up anyway for a very quick bike ride and then a nostalgic blast in your beloved! I'll pay!
Did you know the original owner Funky?
Two completely bonkers owners S3 YOO has been spoilt with just hope the tlc continues with the new one.
The plate is perfect for the car, they belong together and it's amazing how people recognise the plate first, car second and me third!
18,700 miles, I bought it with 5000 miles on the clock from a meticulous owner, Permagard treatment carried out twice now and looks great.
Only ever run on Optimax and V-Power.
Always left to warm up before exploiting.
Private number plate 'S3 YOO' included in the purchase and valued at...
Thanks for your help.
I phoned Speedline and there isn't a touch up paint available but recommended Nissan Hurricane Grey as a close match. I'll let you know how close!
A bad start to the year. Just a moments lapse of concentration, mind on the balti I was abou to collect and devour and scrape!
Just wondered if anyone knows if a touch up paint, or one that is of a similar colour, is available? It would suffice I think, it's not too bad and has only really...
