I had Vibratechnics fitted when the engine came out last year- I get a slight vibration at idle which disappears when I blip the throttle, but once on the move the difference is phenomenal.
You do feel much more part of the car rather than being along for the ride.
I have bought some rear exhaust mounts in readiness for my new exhaust.
I bought the Ebay Chinese import mounts and have added the Powerflex inserts - the difference between how it was and what it is now is night and day. Much stiffer and feels more substantial. They should do the job!
The...
Good article. I think sometimes the difference can be being owned and maintained by an enthusiast or owned as a means of transport.
An enthusiast will keep the car in good shape adhering to service schedules and replacing parts with oe or more performance orientated parts, it may have a few...
Your car looks very nice.
Personally I would say 7k, for starters there seems to have been a bit of a bun fight with people trying to buy.
Secondly the cosmetics look to be in good order with only the bonnet needing attention.
Regarding the lack of history do you have any part purchase...
Thats bad news I am sorry to hear.
Parkers I would take with a pinch of salt, however CAP and Glasses are far more respected. They are very good accurate guides for everyday or more common cars but some cars which are a little rarer and don't see an auction and are generally sold privately have...
Third that! Did anyones Trophy get a pressie? 057 got uprated rear exhaust mounts with powerflex inserts from my Mother in law..... And i had no involvement in choosing them. Honestly...... Good times to all!
Not bought any yet, but these three are listed for Clio V6.......

I bought four Bridgestones last year (again on the back of good feedback) and that they have been developed as an aftermarket performance tyre and they were at that time cheaper than the Michelins. More than happy with them.
I only use the car in the summer and mainly dry weather so I can't say...
Another vote for Snappy - had mine done last year and was very quick to produce a wheel for me. Excellent quality I believe he works for Bentley - I have a picture of mine ( see 057), plus there are other variations pictured here and on CS to give you some ideas.
Sorry Mikey , but CAP does recognise it as a special edition (along with the Extreme and Rush).
Current CAP valuations for a 55 plate Trophy with 84000 miles (for retail) £3125, it gone up £75 in December!!!
For comparison a 182 Cup is £2825, 182 £2825 both have gone up £50. A trade in price...
Eibach Sportlines - a little lower, slightly improved ride, slightly tighter handling and cheaper! A complete set of four for the cost of two front oe springs from Renault. Win win in my view!
I started work for a Renault dealer in 2007, the import centres have since been changed, but I can imagine them being the same in 2005 and 2007.
New Renaults are sent to the CAT approval centre at Southampton, but at that time there was also a "northern" centre at Teesport (no longer used).
I...
Hi, i had the same issue. I had both rear brake discs replaced (which include the bearings) which the guy appeared to over torque causing the bearing to fail. I had both replaced under warranty and all seems well now. Hope this helps.
Morning, I have just gone through the same process this year.
My personal choice was original Sachs and Eibach Sportlines as well as replacing the top mounts. Renault helpfully do not supply new mounts with the rear Sachs so I got mine from Powerflex. Whilst you are at it I would check the...
Sounds like a great idea. The ultimate would surely be meeting up at Dover, popping in to Dieppe and then a convoy down to Monaco, meeting up with the Swiss and expat cars for the Grand Prix in May, where 10 years before the car was released to the press with Alonso and Fisichella (so I...
