Yeah, I read that about the rs192 thats what pushed me towards the Milltek. Yeah powerflex inserts are in my radar but having see some offering these mounts https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152397907320 I could try making my own.

Yes I've seen those, they look like just the job. They may well have stopped the exhaust from moving so much but I couldn't say for sure. I only ever had the standard mounts fitted.

It's not just the Rs192 the moves as it gets hotter, both the BTM and PMS systems that I had fitted the tailpipes grew and rear box moved to a point. But both of them ran non standard rear mounts.

I have bought some rear exhaust mounts in readiness for my new exhaust.

I bought the Ebay Chinese import mounts and have added the Powerflex inserts - the difference between how it was and what it is now is night and day. Much stiffer and feels more substantial. They should do the job!

The only drawback was cutting the original rubber mounts out - I gave up and got a local body shop guy I know to do it for me.... called me all sorts of names when I went to collect them....!

That doesn't sound too bad at all in the video mate...

(Still trying to get the bl**dy exhaust sorted for you mate - sorry it's taking so long. My hands are tied so won't be offended / upset if you change your mind).

Progress Update.

#422 was at SWR today for an oil and filter change, new engine and gearbox mounts, steering wheel swap, new calipers and RS192 fitted.

New calipers.

RS192. Oh no melted trim. :tearsofjoy: An excuse to go carbon I guess

Cable ties to the rescue for now until it settles in properly.

Now I can enjoy driving it again without announcing my arrival from 5 miles away..
