Guess so. Haven noticed much advertising on the site. There’s a £600 minimum. So that must make money per advert to keep the lights on. Few contract snappers to pay around the country. Didn’t look into if they do a concierge service which I’m guessing costs more.
what’s amusing I suppose...
agree with Marc, it’s perhaps a new market audience. Perhaps folks watching Harry with his trophy and Harris with his rallye thinking these guys can buy most things yet have these for fun. Catchpole bought a 182 not long back for a laugh.
If you check the FAQ
It reads that you can discuss a reserve with them but has to be mutually agreed.
can be lowered or removed. It can be increased thru formal written notice which then has to be agreed.
CC can also themselves pay the difference to help shift a car. If the top bid didn’t...
It’s brilliant news for current owners. And yes Big bills on a Clio ain’t actually big against say an e46/e92 m3. They looked big when cars were £5k. But if an owners happy to part with £13k for a car, a £1k suspension bills only a small percentage further.
The only real shame is as the...
Plus a known rotten braking system. A history of a failed head gasket. And optimistic good shocks which haven’t seen a service in years.
congratulations to the seller.
As per the owners thread. Would love to see how big that Renault bill was for a head gasket, belts and a ecu repair.
I'm sure the 61k blinkers will be on as far as the bidding goes.
It might be the lower pipe needs a twist to be able to remove it.
pop the buttons as Jules said between the air box and the pipe. So only the pipes in the car. Then see if the end will twist and pull out of the arch area.
can’t remember the exact sequence but it’s defiantly not hard from memory.
From what I remember the pipes just had a couple of locators on either side of the flatter lengths. Would have thought a good squeeze would get the pipe off one side at a time.
The prices now mean you actually need to want to have a trophy. The kudos, the mythology. . The looking at it as it sits in your garage. that’s really what your paying for. Plus the strong residuals. There’s no way a trophy is twice the car or more a standard 182 is.
If you want the best...
Mick at Diamond sorted me out a whole new key. You won’t need the blade. Took him minutes to do but what ever he did was with a warning that there was no way the original missing key would ever work again. So assume he programmed both the no. 1 key and the replacement key onto a blanked receiver.
And to make us all laugh. I didn’t view a 54k car in 2013 as the £5.5k asking price seemed too high ?. It was even just up the road at a dealer near Preston.
Guess you will find out the market. I was openly willing to pay the £18k for the 11k car two years ago but the dealer wasn’t interested in a px my way with my Z4MC . Annoyingly it was this time round it was advertised with px considered.
It wouldn’t have been a garage queen for me but the...
With the Renault trophy wheels discontinued but speedline still making them with the wrong centre bores.
would be for some one with 3D printing skills to knock up new caps based on the old ones but in the wider bore spec..
Wouldn’t be perfect but would open up the wheel options again.
Or just...
