    Insurance - Agreed Value

There are so many variables calculating insurance. My policy is only 4,000 miles a year, which makes a fair difference.

    Insurance - Agreed Value

My quote was sub-£300 I think, and I've agreed £7k. Renewal due in the next 30 days so those figures are from memory nearly a year ago.

    Remove sachs for winter?

Who knows what causes them to fail?!

    Remove sachs for winter?

If it means they go longer before needing a refurb then I'd say it's worth it. If the act of removal, storage off the car then refitting increases the likelihood of failure then no. Time to toss a coin?

    Insurance - Agreed Value

Do you mean how much does having an agreed value cost in addition to the annual premium? With Greenlight I don't think it's itemised, it's just a feature of their policies. Same with Sky if I remember correctly. I could tell you how much I paid in total but with so many variables used to...

182 trophy ‘could double in value’ in next decade

"could" has to be tempered with "might not". Nobody knows by how much prices or indeed demand might increase.
  14. Claude

    Trophy Value

£7k might be a bit rich, £4.5k sees someone get a bargain, so somewhere in between depending on whether you want a quick sale or can afford to wait it out for the right price/buyer. Good luck

    https://mot-history.net/

Is this an upgrade on the pre-existing site? I checked prior MOTs before buying a car a few years ago via the .gov website.

Where in the world are you tressie90? A Surrey price might be different to a Scottish Highlands price.

    A question about Sachs dampers

I think you nailed it when you started listing the variables, of which there are probably plenty more. Who's to know but a car often driven 4-up in the cooler temperatures of northern Scotland on very poor surfaces, often in wet conditions on salty roads, not garaged, near the sea might only...

    Cliotrophy Insurance Discount scheme?

Great idea Neil, especially for those who aren't active across both forums. I'm not sure whether you're represented on Facebook but there's a ClioTrophy group used by some who aren't active here or on Cliosport.net, plus there's the very popular Clio Sport Owners Club group too. If anyone...

Pictures of 2118's on Mark Fish Springs?

Sorry Ash, for confusing things. I have no reason to doubt that it's MF springs. If anything I was probably getting Matt's car mixed up with James (T28) who also had anthracite 2118s (and an RS2 I think) - he was definitely on coilovers which looked equally superb.

Pictures of 2118's on Mark Fish Springs?

Are they MF springs or coilovers? Either way, that is incredible!

So then who's got a Megane R26.R aswel as their trophy?

An R26 is a fantastic proposition and a great move on from a Trophy by all accounts. An R26.R takes things to another level entirely, a very special car in my opinion, just as coveted as a Trophy, if not more so.
