Good to see you back Steve :D Thanks for the kind words above.
It's my works do with free bar in about 2 weeks time so you could well be seeing the same antics from site admin :P
I'll probably end up logging on with my phone though so who knows what crap you'll get with predictive...
If you'd have given me time, you'd have notice i've responded and unlocked the thread for your reply. I do have to work today, i apologise if my response wasn't instant.
Anyone who's been on this site long enough will realise that we hardly do any moderation of posts at all so your theory...
Call it what you want, I'm not going to be drawn into a discussion on whether or not some drunken posts should have been removed. They are gone now, lets move on.
You're more than welcome to start another thread in general chat to have a laugh about it if you want though, no problem with...
To be honest the moderators didn't know what was going on, you don't expect someone given responsibility to look after the forum to post stuff like that.
The initial thought was that his account had been hacked so everything was tidied up.
I don't disagree that it may have been quite...
I just fancy a change really, might replace with a personal reg if i can find anything i like.
Just testing the waters really, will sell it given the right offer.
No not the car, just the number plate!
I'm considering selling my registration plate T28 PHY. I chose this as it was about as close as you can get to the ultimate Trophy plate T20 PHY without spending £3000 :P
I've always ran it with legal spacing etc, but remove the space and a...
Found your account on Cliosport, username is 'da Fish'
Your account is awaiting activation which means you need to click on the link in the email the forum sends to you to confirm your email address is valid. In case you didn't get it i've sent it again, so check your email for something...
Theres often confusion about this, the bulbs above are standard filament bulbs filled with Xenon gas which produces a whiter light than the more common halogen gas filled bulbs. Osram SIlverstars are Xenon bulbs for example.
When people talk about 'Xenons' as on the full fat 182, what they...
Numbers and money is the whole issue Steve. On Cliosport we have a) a much larger user base, and b) a nice pool of membership money with which to fund purchases of these things. For example we just spent £1000 on Tax Disc holders. Now cliosport will get the money back on that through...
Not sure i really understand then, how would a spotting then be linked in with the owners register? You wouldn't know what number it was so what would you post? :-k
I did consider numbered stickers when the site was first launched. I was going to make the club sticker just have the word TROPHY, the cars number and the web address and it was to be stuck under the Clio badge on the boot lid. The theory was to combine a club sticker and also something to...
Sounds like a good idea.
I might need to rework some of the forum sections a bit, there doesn't seem to be a section where that would go at the moment. Might group it into a new section with the Trackdays forum.
From the supplier I looked at before I reckon i could get them in the shop for about £6 each including p&p
If there's enough interest i'd be happy to go ahead, or Cue if you can get a better deal let me know.
Ahh, last year we had animated snow falling, and christmas trees and snow on the logo.
Might have flashing lights and christmas songs playing in the background this year, just to really annoy everyone :P
phpBB does not reflect local daylight saving time changes unfortunately. Call it crap if you like, but thats the way it is at the moment. I've changed the forum default back to GMT but you'll still probably have to update your profiles.

I've recently coated the insides of all the windows with the rain-x anti misting solution (well actually I'm cheap so bought Halfords own make version)
Doesn't completely stop it steaming up but makes it very much better. I get more of a problem with condensation on the outside of the window...
You have to press the trip reset button on the dials to show it, not the one on the wiper stalk. You have to press it while it still says OIL OK too, and it wont do this if your cruise control mode switch is on in either mode.
Just got my PC polisher back, the car needs a serious clean after the ring trip 2 weeks ago, and today was the scheduled day for mintification. I feel your pain
Hi! Welcome to the forum :D
Brakes are the one thing that quite a few people decide to upgrade on the RS Clio's especially if they are going on track a few times a year.
I'd advise upgrading to braided hoses for a start, that will help improve pedal feel. For pads I'd say something like...
