I'm not so sure that is the number for the OEM front splitter and I think you can put a 1 in front of that price for a genuine one.

Go for it, buy some new ones for less than the refurbishment. It's your cash, if you think it's too much to pay then don't pay it. I happily paid a sum of money to have mine refurbished and have been very pleased with the results for over 2 years.
