When I was admin over at cliodci.net we introduced a registration question.
It was really simple and stopped all the spam:
Enter only the uppercase letters from the following code - kAeSpCheRAafEmUSwAD:
Personally I doubt that's the correct engine. Or it's had a new engine in.
Missing bolt for the engine mount plus lower manifold. Also missing ECU bracket.
Personally, with no to little use I wouldn't be too concerned.
However if I was using the Sachs I would prefer to have the Schrader valves fitted. So I could keep a eye on the pressure.
I understand why Marc has went down this route, keeping it OEM to the dot.
If anyone requires any keyrings, I still have a handful left. Just send me a PM.
I don't have many Badges left however.
I do know there is a Trophy out there with 007 seats in. But 007 has been scrapped.
So no way to tell what actual number the car is.
I purchased mine a year or two again for £250 delivered. This was including the front, rears and dust protectors.
Seems they have shot up in price lately.
Genuine Trophy Spoiler for sale, comes in Capsicum Red. £220 delivered.
The spoiler has a slight bit of paint damage, where the spoiler has been hitting the roof; due to the previous owner using incorrect boot struts.
However I will include my genuine Trophy / V6 boot struts, which will...
Sachs are back from Cornering Force. However not yet tested them to see if they have been fixed, due to the car being off the road until March.
I'm going to attempt to fit them myself. What can go wrong... best not to answer that one.
Just spoke to Mike st Cornering Force and he has informed me, my Sachs are all finished.
He however is going to keep them for a extra week; to perform some tests on the dyno making sure they are 110%.
Cracking customer service up to now!
As mentioned by Jon, the original Trophy Sachs require drilling and tapping to fit R1 Scrapper / dust seals. Prices as followed:
Fixture ring £37.39 each
Scraper £15.65 each
Screw kit £2.08
I've just purchased some, delivery not expected until December.
My Sachs are still currently with...
I've since been in touch with Simon and he's going to look into the cause of why this has happened, brilliant service up to now.
I'll keep you all updated on how it goes.
I've also been in touch with Nicky, in-regards to the R1 Dust Covers.
I've asked for a singular price and a group buy price...
Interested as to why you have not went for de-pinning?
De-pinning them helps match the shocks when on the dyno.
Have you heard back from Andy@ clioturbo.co.uk about the service he is offering yet?
After a refurbishment at Cornering Force in September 2013 and fitted in February 2014.
Mine have lasted magnificent 8 months and 6,000. The passenger side is not loosing oil out the shaft seal.
Has anyone managed to get their hands on some Twingo R1 dust covers?
Still got quite a few badges available, feel free to drop my a PM.
Key Rings are all go, only £8 posted!
