Hi Ian, I'll have a look at home in case there are any invoices kicking around which have been misplaced out of the service folder. Everything I had should have been in a red trophy binder, which went with the car.
Hopefully the service book is stamped at least? I'll have a look at home this...
Ian, have a look in the tool kit/tyre inflator kit bag in the boot. There was a paint stick in there when I sold it to the previous owner. It may still be there? Hope car is okay - I'd love to still be owning it!
It's gone to a good new home I think. Sure Simon will be on here to take over the ownership thread shortly. Really, really sorry to see it go.
Price-wise, it didn't go for the full asking price, put close enough for it to have been pitched in the right ballpark.
Cant comment on R5 I'm afraid, but my 205 is a great companion to the Trophy. By comparison, the 205 (1.9), is slower, no doubt, but is just so much fun! It's a challenge to drive smoothly which I really like. The ride is much softer than the Trophy too, which is quite charming. Servicable...
Lovely little collection! Willies for me, when sunny and cooler. Would dearly love one, but I already have a 205GTI filling the "cult hot hatch" part of my garage, so might never own one.
I never imagined I'd be interested in a boggo Renault 5 either, but your white one there looks rather...
Grumble grumble... could have been out driving it... grumble grumble... could have gone to the pub...grumble. Genuine enquiries I find quite fun though. A chance to talk about the car! And with them being quite rare, I wouldn't want someone to travel miles and miles to then be disappointed...
Happy to talk about the car all day long, and send as many pictures as people want, but doesn't take a huge amount of courtesy once you've agreed to visit, to call/text to say you've changed your mind, got held up, can't be arsed, or something like that.
Can anyone tell me how I can update my...
Just a little update on this thread gang.
I'm struggling a bit with potential buyers who have made arrangements to come and view the car, then I wait in for them, and they fail to show. Very frustrating! With that in mind, I'm happy to adjust the price a little for a forum member if they come...
Thanks for your comments so far gents.
Yes, it's priced at the high end for the mileage, but I adore the thing. I'd rather price it higher, and enjoy it a while longer waiting for it to spark someone's interest, than sell it cheaply, get loads of interest and wish I'd advertised it for more...
Clio Trophy #31 reluctantly for sale, and available for viewing in Leamington Spa (or near Norwich with some notice to get there)
Trophy #31 is looking for it's next enthusiast owner to enjoy owning it as much as I have. A great all round car. Good for motorway work with cruise control, comfy...
To be fair, the one they've sent I imagine 95% of people would be happy with. Perhaps I'm just being overly picky. Thanks for your message Terry, I've sent you a reply.
Sorry lads, not logged on for a while. I should have one on its way from Renparts.... Fingers crossed it's the right one. Will let you know when it arrives
Hi All,
I've put a request up on cliosport too, but worth asking on here too.
Does anyone have the factory fit "update list" marked stereo from their Trophy laying about which they don't need?
Mine has stopped recognising CDs.
Must please be in excellent condition. Lemme' know if you have...
Hiya,
Trophy blueprint ordered. Hopefully you've all the details you need. Do you send a "proof" image out before you laser the sheet, so that I can be sure I'm happy with it?
Also, as soon as you are good to go with Lotus ones, please let me know, as I'd like to order a matching one...
