Ford got it so right with the Mk1 Focus RS, that one is a beauty.
For once, I don't think that estimate is close to what it will sell for,
I cant see it selling for anything less than £35k at least.
Whoever gets it, will gave a cracking car and being such low mileage (verifiable as well)
along...
Looking at the shine of the paint, it must have gotten a respray at some point I reckon.
Ummm....not so sure about the black roof though.
And it looks like it also has the experimental, rear wheel steer option as well ;)
Looking at the shed,it seems to be pretty dry and doesn't look to be damp.
I think theres no pixie dust being used here, its the genuine, time gathered variety 😉😂
The interior looked really good as well from what I saw,and from experience,it doesn't take a lot to make them all mouldy etc. if...
Finally got watching this one from Jonny, really enjoyed it.
Gordon certainly has a pretty decent treasure trove of some great French hits, hiding in there.
Like as sometimes happens,it seems like life just took priority for him.
Be great to see the cars started up and moving again though,Trophy...
I missed the silver one Nick 🙈😂 @photo_ed agreed, love the interior.
Very nice car,and again, been well looked after by the looks of it.
@NickReilly063 Not so sure about the new Talbot colour choice on that one,it will certainly be unique and stand out alright 😉
I've never seen Bleu Topaz...
Nice example Nick, clearly been well looked after as well.
I could see it maybe making,£19k or so,in the current market? (I'm not a fan of that term 🙄😂)
Personally,I'd go for a Sorrento Green car,now that is a stunning colour in them I think.
If anyone has money to spend on what you might consider as luxuries, cars, watches etc.
they certainly aren't in as big a rush and as frivolous as a year or so ago, alright.
I think a lot of people who bought cars then, only seeing them as a one way ticket to
making easy money, no matter if it...
I know what you mean Nick.
Sometimes buying a certain car is the easy bit.
Its when it comes to try to find parts that are NLA or have a big price
attached to them or are just very hard to come across, that ownership
becomes that much harder to justify, I think.
Even still, it would be...
While I know next to nothing about prices etc., that seems like a bit of a bargain.
Considering the mileage and the general interest in the Williams, especially the
original series.
Or maybe we've just become more used to these sorts of cars selling for £20/30k
and even way more, over the...
@Love that Turbo apologies for taking your thread off topic.
You wont go too far wrong getting information on here relating to the Trophy, theres a lot of great knowledge and enthusiasm for them in the membership.
And if you manage to get one before next year,be sure to make your way across to...
100% correct on that one Ed.
There has been some very happy and sore heads coming out of those gates over the years 😉😂😂
I was last at it for GnR in 2017.
I got into the car at 10pm, before the concert was even over and I was still in the field at 2am in the morning!!!
Never again 🙄
I should...
To be fair, that looks very well from that rear 3/4 angle, especially with the dished wheel.
But as you say hoolio, its just a bit off at the other end ;)
That sort of reminds me of one of the best Only Fools & Horses episodes, To Hull and Back.
I just so happened to be watching it the other night and reading your post Ed, I now just
have a vision of Nick, setting sail across the Channel in an old boat, to collect a valuable haul
of rare Trophy...
Fair play to everyone involved in this project.
Just from following the other thread, a tonne of work has obviously gone
into getting it all together, you should be very proud and happy with
the final outcome Ed, and everyone else involved behind the scenes.
Whoever gets a copy, will be...
@Chipper Thanks for the post and the details in it as well.
As you say, mechanically wise, its a fairly straight forward setup, powertrain and running gear at least
(you would guess anyway).
While I have never even sat in one, I could well believe they might feel a bit more "substantial"...
The packaging elves, will need to be decked out like a forensic, crime scene detective Ed,
silk gloves and all when handling these calendars ;)
It sounds like they will be a proper Trophy masterpiece.
People who place an order, will be getting a top quality, and very well put together, piece...
Just said I'd ask this question on here as I believe there might be some current and also
former, Clio Williams' owners.
Just wondering what is it like to find parts for the Williams these days?
Is it a case, that you either have to be very lucky and or, spend a very long time hunting
down...
That looks mega, colours like that were made for cars like that ;)
Real pity the Spanish jobs for life, tried to put the 182 through so many hoops.
Still, every cloud has a Giallo lining and all that
