The time has come to move my Trophy on.
It has wanted for nothing while in my ownership and
has been garaged all the time.
It had a full belts service in May and has done 56,000 miles.

Are these easy to fit?
I am having a new timing belt fitted
by the local Renault Dealer.
I don't want some numpty getting it wrong.
We have no specialists here in Northern Ireland.

I bought the car with carbon bullets.
Put them back to original.
To my view they look better.
But each to their own thats what makes
car ownership interesting.

The good thing about the setup I have is that the
Renault controls still work.
The sound quality is much better than standard,which
admittedly is not hard.

I have exactly this sort of setup in my Trophy.
The stereo boys fitted a small sub in the rear side panel
the sound is surprisingly good and bass is fine as long
as you dont want to shake your mirrors off.

I have just got the car back.
What a laugh.Everything is so much tauter,understeer
is much reduced.
The lightweight flywheel makes idle more lumpy
as you would expect but the car revs much more eagerly.
Altogether a total riot.

Yes was thread on main shaft.
But the dealer is sorting that out.
Both shocks were refurbed last year so should be OK.
The flywheel came from Ktec,the Renault service guy said he
couldn't believe the difference in weight and says the engine
revs much more quickly now.

The modifying bug has bitten again.What a nightmare for my Credit Card.
Had to replace the clutch so I thought lets put in a light weight flywheel.
But then I couldn't stop myself and the following has been done.
