Changing bullets to carbon!

Recently bought carbon bullets but have no clue on how to take the originals off tried with a small screw driver with no luck. Any other was on doing it?

Ok you need to slide the whole bump strip off. If you open the door just beneath the hump formed by the locking mech is a black blanking bung. Remove this if you feel around you should find a nipple, attached to the strip, which locks the strip in place. Push this out towards the inside of the strip whilst at the same time trying to slide the whole strip towards you/rear of the car. It should move about 1/2 inch iirc and they you should be able to gently remove.

BTW personally think they look better silver.

I agree.
I bought the car with carbon bullets.
Put them back to original.
To my view they look better.
But each to their own thats what makes
car ownership interesting.

You DONT need to remove any parts to replace the exterior door bullets ! they just clip on with 3 clips be brave and they will come off.

easy for some thieving ba****d to take one of mine a while ago.

BTW agree keep them silver.

Yes but if you remove the whole thing you can then see what you're doing and you can clean all the $hit that collects behind as well. BTW I only discovered this after I removed it as well.
