Sorry - now sold. Money going on a Merc SL instead. I had to hold back a tear or two as it was driven off glistening in the sunshine
Good luck to the new owner. He'll have lots of fun, I can tell.
Sorry once again I have changed my mind. I saw and fell in love with a Merc SL and have bought it, so will transfer the Satnav unit into it on Monday as the existing Merc unit is sh1t. Shame that the steering wheel integration is effectively lost, but there you go. It'll work beautifully for...

Am now selling at same price - £12k - but with Pioneer AVIC X1 head unit and satnav with iPod intergace and full integration with steering wheel controls. I was going to put that into the other car but have decided...
V-Power update
Filled up on Tesco 99ron - which was OK (and, if you spend over £50 shopping, you currently get 5p a litre off - which is £8 on a 40l fill-up!)
Emptied the tank and decided to try V-power again. Local garage has dropped prices to 96p/l from 101p/l, so its more...
OK I've just re-read an old issue of Evo which goes into the fuel debate, think I might have to start paying extra, although they saw the greates differences on a turbo car and less on the normally aspirated one.
Why not buy Sainsbury's and a can of the STP additive stuff every now and again? Should give the same effect and be cheaper.
I'm not against Vpower per se, just that it's so much more expensive for little practical gain and really just peace of mind.
Sainsbury's Super Unleaded is 97RON and 93p/l - saves £2.40 on a 40l fill-up over VPower at 99p/l (although my local Shell garages were 102p/l last time I filled up :( ) and I (currently) detect no difference in performance.
So I think I'll stick with Sainsburys!
I haven't tried hard to sell it as I'm enjoying it but it's still for sale. I have two cars for sale - this plus a Golf TDi "workhorse" - and will keep whichever doesn't sell as I can't decide which I prefer.
Trophy now £12k.
Golf Tdi is tweaked by AMD to 183bhp/325lbft - no cat...
The vast majority of all engineers on all F1 teams are British! Except Super Aguri I think.

Having owned both an ITR and now the Trophy I can understand why the ITR might win. The Trophy may be more chic, but my memory is the ITR had a stronger engine, better gearchange, and slightly more stability on very high speed corners.
I think it's a shame that they didn't list the car weight...
