I am getting a background noise only when moving. Sounds a bit boomy. This happens even when moving with the clutch in. I don't think its the exhaust. Seems to be getting worse. I think its something to do with the drive. Gear box seems ok. I know I'm being a bit vague but any bright ideas. Thanks.

I tried to buy oil for my Trophy from Renault Ilford. TOLD NO OIL 2 WEEK WAIT. Can you believe it? I asked how they service cars without oil The parts bloke said they buy in from Halfords for 182s. :roll: Where else can I get Elf oil or is there alternative? Help would be appreciated :)

My Trophy has done approx 9500 miles with no oil change. Travel has mostly been in slow traffic in London. Am I right in saying I should get it serviced now. Renault want over £100 for an oil change. Has anyone used BB Performance Tuning. I would appreciate reccomendations. It looks like...

I have done 3200 miles now and have noticed some clutch judder when I pull away at low revs in 1st gear. Is this normal? Should I keep revs up a bit more or should I get this checked out. I do most of my driving in London rush hour. I would be grateful for advise. :?:

Well im 52. My dad of 86 has been reading about my car and cant wait for me to show him what its made of. he always loved fast cars when he was healthy enough to have one. He liked fast women too from what I hear. :wink:

I have been driving my trophy in rush hour traffic most mornings. Im not having a chance to let it go very much. Will this have any effect on general performance due to the ecu thinking I cant drive ?? Should the ecu be reset to maximise performance . If so how? Also are there any comments on...

If you press electric widow button for drivers door briefly the window opens automatically. This does not work for passengers window. You have to hold button down to open. Is this a fault? Advise please. Thank you :)

I have supaguard to. Is there any special cleaning instructions or will ordinary car shampoo do? Are car washes ok? (no brushes of course). Does superguard really keep shine for 3 years?? Advise please :?:

Can somebody help. Im sure I read here there is optimum gear change light. Because i'm running car in I obviously cant use revs to check it. I cannot find it in hand book. How does it work? Can it be turned on and off? Thanks :?:

I have just received my car. Fabulous!! However I agree that the steering seems really weighted to. Is this normal. I was going to take car back to dealers . Is it correct the weight of the steering. :wink:

The Trophy was due 20 September. I was told this in writing. Since then I have had 5!!! delays. Renault computer now says delivery 17 October but who knows. I almost gave up till I had test drive. Also renault dealer gave me cortersy car so makes things easier. I will wait. Its a great car...

Still waiting for car. At least the dealer has given me a courtesy car in meantime. I managed to get test drive. I think it was no 363. WICKED WICKED. I originally test drove ordinary 182. The trophy seems so much more responsive. Does suspention really have that effect? Ill just have to be...
