I reckon an event with something else on at the same time would be good, it gives attendees something else to look at (other makes, racing etc) and also gets people that do not see usually see the Trophy get a better look.

will make it eayser to organise, big difference between 10+ ppl signing up on here saying they will go, and how many people turn up

Noones gonna be interested in a Trophy if there's a V6 parked up near by, I suspect it may kill the celebration off some what!!

I like Claude's idea of a driving meet in North Wales. That or a track day. There's only so long you can stand around looking at identical cars!

I'd be up for a Wales meet, or a Lakes, or Yokshire Dales.

For a Track Day could try jump on a Renaultsport one so you don't get silly fast things buzzing round you all day.

The only other thing I contemplated was Carfest. I took my V6 there and was a great weekend, but don't know if 7 red clios every day will be special enough for your average punter...
