Another boring tyre question. But what speed rating Exalto PE2's should i be using as just went to check then visually and found that i have both 2 V's and 2 W's!

, I had trouble getting hold of the V rated PE2's so opted for the W.
v is the correct one - the W rated one is for Golfs iirc, as they are heavier - so the sidewalls are stiffer.
Fitting the W will only mean a slightly lower grip and harsher ride, but some won't even notice it.

When I had one new tyre, they fitted a W by accident and as it was on the front, I could really tell the difference on turn in. I only had it on for a couple of hours before I took it back and asked them to correct it (I believe it would have been an MOT failure otherwise). I think the W is also marginally heavier..
Although it's the V, I've had ATS question it in the past, their computer systems have got it down as a W. So have some online sites where you can search by car iirc.
