I'm looking at getting the original wheels refurbished in the near future but I cannot find a place that will spray them in IXELL paint. I am also wary that by painting them with a water based paint they will bubble again, which I don't want.

Has anybody either had theirs refurbished in paint or powdercoat, if so where did you go and what was the colour code used/how close is it to original?

May i suggest buying a new set & keep the current ones. You then have a spare set - when the car goes in somewhere to have some work done put the old ones back on - and save the new ones for best or summer use only.

Google Lepsons, in Kent and somewhere else now too. I had mine done in the right colour code. They came up slightly different, but that's paint. Cost just over £200, they repair the alloys too, dip and strip them, powder coat primer, spray the colour, not sure about the laquer. Had them done a year ago and have been fine, no peeling etc. I wanted mine done as they were corroding on the inside, and the corrosion has not returned since. I would go back.

I used The Wheel Specialist in Manchester. Can't fault the work or the service tbh.

You can probably get them down on the price too because the seem to offer promotions quite regularly.
Jon, Donna at TWS said if I tell a mate to say that I recommended you then you'll get the same 25% discount I had. This was in December (I think).
